Research and Projects

The research at the International Geothermal Centre Bochum focuses on long-term research cooperations on all topics within the geothermal field.

GANDOR - Geothermal Academic Network in the Danube Region

The GANDOR project established a geothermal network in the Danube region.  The primary focus of the project was to build a transnational cooperation of sustainable partnerships between academia, local authorities and the geothermal industry.

The project followed the aim of turning geothermal research results into new geothermal products and services, which resulted in further developments of geothermal clusters and developing industries in the Danube area.
