In 2005 a NRW delegation along with representatives of economy and science under charge of the NRW economic ministry travelled to Australia. Contacts to various Australian universities and Geodynamics, which builds the world’s biggest HFR-power plant (275 MW el) in the Cooper Basin, were established. Project manager for reservoir-engineering is Ralph Weidler, who at the same time is a member of the GZB scientific board.
